Great local place for take out and dining in . It has an extensive menu but don't let that deter you because most are amazing. Here are my favorites from what I've tried : chicken fried rice ( tastes so rich ), walnut shrimp ( they are huge), Kung pao tofu ( simple yet the tofu is addicting ), the cold pork with garlic ( spicy and so flavorful ), and lastly the general tso chicken ( very different take from other Asian restaurant and I love their take on it ). The tea smoke duck was substantial but would have like it a little less dry .

I am obsessed with this place!! It is so beautiful and everyone is so nice! I frequently get the ma po tofu, which has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. For me, this dish provides 3 meals. I can't get enough. I tried the fish in hot chili oil recently and wow, the flavor is so good and the fish just melts away in your mouth. I love the orange slices and fortune cookie they provide with the bill. There's a small koi fish pond at the entrance. I've seen turtles too. I just pray that they're well taken care of, but the water and are does look clean. I dine here on my own sometimes with a book, and they just let me be. I never feel rushed to leave. Will for sure be back again and again. Highly recommend!

Came here on a weeknight, not busy at all even though parking lot was packed. But plenty of street parking on Jericho tpk. We were seated immediately. Service was great. They were attentive. The two soups were delicious!!!!!! Portions were great too! Both had noodles in it and it was filling! We had leftovers too! We also ordered a beef tripe cold appetizer. It was delicious as well but a little spicy. Everything was good here! Will definitely be back!

One of the things I love most is amazing food and almost every dish at Chef Wangs is top notch! I've had the Salt & Pepper Squid, Crispy Beef, Peking duck and so much more. The dish that stood out more than anything else though are the Cumin ribs! These are my absolute favorite, love love love them A close second is the salt & pepper fish. The fish is perfectly seasoned & it just melts in your mouth. I can have this everyday without getting bored of it. It's pretty spacious inside, so you don't have to worry about it getting too cramped. Whenever I'm in the area I always have to stop in for Chef Wangs, absolutely love this place

I came here after reading the splendid review of Yelp Elite Cher Y. I took her recommendation to order the "Cheng Du spicy aromatic crispy fish". I did not see it on the menu, so I showed the waiter her review, and he told me that the " Hot Spicy Crispy Sliced Fish" is what she had. One word: amazing. This is the best Sichuan (spicy Southwestern Chinese food) that I have had outside of Flushing. The food stayed fresh the next day. Although the brown rice tempered the spiciness of the food, next time I will order any Sichuan dish mild due to personal health concerns. The Wonton Soup was made Chinese style (thin-skinned wontons). That's how I like it. I do not patronize any Chinese restaurant unless they make it that way. It was definitely worth the trip out here from Suffolk County. I will soon be back!

Chef Wang delivered another knockout last night! The restaurant continues to hold the best Sichuan cuisine and the best service on Long Island and we believe in the entire NY State. Reservation on line was very easy and smooth. Highly recommend make a reservation. Because dinner time they are super duper busy. Waiting time for big table could be up to 45 mins or more. We ordered many house signature dishes, bean curd whole fish, double cooked pork belly, Cheng Du spicy aromatic crispy fish, cumin lamb, Peiking pork chop etc. every single one was ravishing. And each dish got even more striking as it came out by order. To be brutally honest, it was very difficult o maintain any table manners and hold grace. Lol! Whole fish in bean curd sauce: 11 out of 10. Fresh, savory with a hint of sweetness melting in mouth. Right amount of sauce alone could be a rice killer. The chef was the true master of Sichuan cuisine. Cumin lamb: we enjoyed so much! Unlike most restaurants, the dish perfectly balanced aroma, salt and ingredients own unique flavor and taste. You didn't even need any carbs to go along with. Superb! Double-cooked pork belly: 9 out of 10. My son's favorite. Each piece of pork belly had Guo Hei (came from perfect stir fry, that delivered sensational burning aroma and texture in mouth. One of highest achievement this dish could obtain). Only a very minor suggestion, use a little leaner top pork belly not the lower part may be?) Chengdu crispy fish: 10 out of 10. Another quintessential dish. Fresh crispy fish with flawless deep fried red chili pepper ( dry version) and fried peanuts on top of young lettuce. The dish was like a fiery ballerina. Peking pork chop: 6 out of 10. Overly sweet and not crispy. The sauce made the meat soggy. Not our liking. Eggplants: 8 out of 10. I personally would like less oil used. But my family enjoyed it. The service: Sofitel level. The general manager Richard was extraordinary as always! All servers were well trained and very attentive. They showed genuine hospitality. The place was truly like a home, the food, the atmosphere, the piano, and the water pond. Thank you Richard, Linda and Chef Wang for another superb dinner! My boy said thank you uncle Richard for the unique ice cream. Lol!
